A custom font should be added as local WOFF2 files in assets/, declared with @font-face, then tested here at phone and desktop widths before it reaches the page.
What to check before a change lands: the specimen at phone and desktop widths, and whether a new size earns its place. There is no type scale on this site — sizes are set per component, which the tokens page calls a smell to fix before it spreads.
